Why did you lie to me?

Chapter Text

“Are you alright?” Mike asks Will.

Will felt warm and feverish because of the drinks he had. He nods.

They reach home Mike’s home. Elosie runs into her room to test out those expensive crayons.

“I’ll…sleep on the sofa…Rule 3, remember? Or was it 4?” Will tries to remember as he unbuttons the top two buttons of his shirt Mike’s shirt. Will sits on the sofa.

“It’s our last night together. Forget it, those rules are stupid…” Mike says as he stares at Will’s face. He remembers the sweet Will’s face. It hadn’t changed much except that his hair got longer.

“Are you sure? The last time I was drunk…I kissed you…” Will says, remembering that night. He gets closer to Mike.

“You won’t do that again, right?” Mike asks as he also gets closer to Will’s face. He couldn't deny it. He was attracted to Will Byers.

“No...Not if you continue wearing those glasses.” Will’s lips were a hair's breadth away from Mike’s. His hot breath was induced by alcohol. Will froze right there. He didn’t want to make another mistake.

Mike takes off his glasses and kisses Will. Will completely melts into Mike’s arms. Mike stops and catches his breath. He takes a moment to look into Will’s eyes. Will’s shiny doe eyes were reflecting every emotion possible.

“Do you like it now?” Mike asks.

“L-Like what?”

“My face. Without the glasses.” Mike says as he grabs Will’s hand and holds it tight.

Will struggles to answer. Mike was looking so dreamy right now, Will couldn’t think straight. Will kisses Mike softly.

“Is…that…a yes?” Mike asks in between Will’s kisses.

Will nods. Mike smiles and kisses Will back. Mike drops his glasses and holds Will’s waist. The night passes in an instant.

The next morning. Mike wakes up to see that his body is entangled with Will’s. He gets out of it and goes outside to see his glasses on the floor. Surprisingly, they didn’t break. He heads to the kitchen and puts on his glasses. He can’t help but smile uncontrollably as he makes coffee for himself and Will. This was perfect. Mike was finally happy with what he was doing. But as one problem disappeared, another came knocking at his door.
